A Provencal farmhouse, its outbuilding and grounds of more than 17 hectares, with a panoramic view of the valley along the border of the Vaucluse department and the Drôme Provençale region.
Located in the PACA region, in the north-eastern part of the Vaucluse department, at more than 700 metres of altitude, the property is situated within the village of Aurel, which borders the "Vallis Clausa" plateau to the west and overlooks the Nesque valley. The village is located to the east of Mount Ventoux and to the northeast of the mountains in the Vaucluse. Built on a limestone plateau along the edge of the Albion plateau, it is surrounded by boulders, forests and lavender fields. Omnipresent in the area, the latter flowers as of early July to the greatest pleasure of residents, hikers, cyclists and tourists. In addition, the region is largely known for its extraordinary terrain, with exceptional flora and fauna.
The A51 (which connects Aix-en-Provence to Gap) and A7 motorways (which links Lyon to Marseille) can be reached in 1 hour and 1 hour and 20 minutes, respectively. The high-speed rail train station in Avignon is 1.5 hours away from the property, while the Marseille international airport is 1 hour and 40 minutes away.
Bordered by the Mount Ventoux and Luberon natural parks, the property is located around the bend of a track lined with an avenue of cypress trees. To the north, lavender fields precede a view of mature forests and mountains. Seen from above, the track forms a heart around the two independent farmhouses, with: to the north, the first building and main dwelling, which was built according to the terrain's contours. It has three storeys, each one of them accessible from exterior patios, making it possible to contemplate the surrounding nature.
A peaked tile roof is interrupted by a roof patio to the east, while the building's façades are made out of pointed and exposed irregular stones from the Luberon's quarries. Occupying a surface area of approximately 208 m², the dwelling includes living spaces and three bedrooms.
A few metres to the south, connected to the first house via a stone patio, the second farmhouse, rectangular and facing east, with approximately 207 m², has two storeys. With façades and a roof similar to the first farmhouse, it contains six bedrooms and a living area.
Built up against the flank of the hill, the terraced patios overlook the valley to the east and a lush forest. In the southern part of the property, a lookout point, located next to farmland, makes it possible to take advantage of the property's peace and quiet.

The Main Dwelling
The street-level floor
The front door is located on the north side of the building and opens onto a foyer of approximately 17 m², which leads to a bathroom with a lavatory, a first bedroom and a kitchen located to the east, with wood and marble furnishings, and opening onto a stone patio to the south overlooking the valley. Continuing on from the kitchen, a dining room is also accessible from the foyer. Here, a glass panel was cleverly installed in the ceiling, which separates the latter from the living room above. An old stone and brick fireplace in the middle of the house and floor heating covered with travertine pleasantly diffuses heat on cold days.
The garden-level floor
A straight travertine staircase makes it possible to access a vast living room-dining room. A sliding glass door on its eastern wall opens onto a stone roof patio, bordered by an understated wrought-iron guardrail, which overlooks the valley. Accessible via the living room, a bedroom benefits from the same panorama. Adjacent to the dining room to the west, a covered outside stone eating area with exposed beams makes it possible to eat lunch shaded from the summer heat and contemplate the sun setting over the lavender fields. Lastly, a hallway leads to ...
