Your room is part of a completely furnished and first-time occupancy 4-room international flat share on the second floor of a Berlin Altbau. All electrical appliances and furniture are brand new or chosen antiques. The flat has 118m2 and your room has 19m2. It is completely furnished from the tee spoon to the wardrobe. The monthly price of 750 € contains the rent for the room, the furniture and expenses for water, heating and waste disposal charges. Not included are electricity charges and Internet access that you will share and organize with your flat mates. The residential registration ("Anmeldung") is possible, and I will assist you in getting through the challenges of German bureaucracy.
Your Room
The room is furnished with a well-fitted wardrobe, an antique commode and a practical desk with a desk chair allowing you to comfortably work or study from home at any time. The comfortable armchair and small side table invites you to relax after a full day of work or to have a chat with your friends or flat mates. The spacious bed (140x200m) has a full timber bed frame, and the brand-new mattress has two degrees of hardness depending on your preference at night.
The original art works on the wall are by the famous Berlin-based abstract artist Renée Strecker. The two ample windows allow for luminous space and a warm atmosphere.
The Common Space:
The flat has two bathrooms. One has a toilet, sink and mirror cabinet and the second one offers a bathtub, toilet, sink, mirror cabinet and a brand-new washing machine (Bosch). In the kitchen you will find a brand-new dish washer, an energy efficient fridge (Liebherr), oven and stove. Furthermore, the kitchen table offers space to four people to cook and eat together and to have a good time together. The kitchen cupboard contains all relevant appliances such as cutlery, pots, vases, glasses, cups, and a bowls.
The flat is a 4-room international WG without a shared living room or community room. However, the kitchen serves well as a place to meet during the day. Each of the four rooms is independently rented out. The creation of a homely and comfortable atmosphere is paramount for me and there is no "hard criteria" or requirement regarding gender, age or activity in life.
