Friedrichshain is located in the former eastern part of Berlin and is a central district. The Spree forms the southern border and the Ringbahn forms the eastern border. Friedrichshain is divided into four neighborhoods: the "Samariterkiez", "Boxhagener Kiez", "Rudolfkiez" and the area "Around Karl-Marx-Allee". This part of the city is extremely popular and you can meet all kinds of celebrities here. The most important sight in Friedrichshain is certainly the East Side Gallery, 1.3 kilometers of wall with lots of graffiti, some of which are world-famous. The Oberbaum Bridge connects the district of Kreuzberg-Friedrichshain. The Molecule Man is a classic photo motif.
The neighborhood block "Around Karl-Marx-Allee" was home to around 7,850 residents in 2020, with a rising trend and now with a new building for further enrichment of the neighborhood in the middle.
Due to its central location, you will of course find all cultural offerings as well as excellent transport connections in all directions.
